is a contemporary art gallery/curatorial umbrella founded in 2022, with an office space (Annex/Cointelpro) in Chicago's Albany Park neighborhood, and a vitrine (Hole) in Chicago's Logan Square neighborhood. The gallery's program focuses around allowing artists opportunities to present ambitious and challenging work in a site-responsive and collaborative manner, alongside exhibition-specific ephemera.
Jessie Darnell (b.1996, St. Louis, MO) is a painter based in Berlin. She received a BFA from SAIC in 2018. Recent exhibitions include The Hypochondriac's Dream House at Louche Ops (Berlin, 2023,) Brutalism at KVS Berlin (Berlin, 2024,) and Where is the Reward at LVL3 (Chicago, IL, 2019.)
Walker Walls Tarver (b.1995, Palo Alto, CA) lives and works between New York, San Antonio, and Colorado Springs. She received an MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, MI. Recent solo and two-person presentations include Death of a Snowman (Kansas City, MO, 2024,) Walker Walls Tarver at April April (Brooklyn, NY, 2023) and Summer Collection at Wasserman Works (Detroit, MI, 2002.) She is currently visiting faculty at Colorado College.
Born in Warsaw, Mona Kowalska emigrated to Baltimore with her mother at the age of 9. After receiving her BA in Political Science from the University of Chicago, she returned to Europe, spending the next decade in Florence and Paris honing her skills as a fashion designer. In 1998, and now in New York City, she began designing under her own label - A Détacher. In 2019, she turned to art making. She lives and works in New York City. Recent exhibitions include I am a city of bones at ILY2 (Portland, OR, 2023) and Mignolo at Kerry Schuss (New York, NY, 2022.)
