Luca Klauba (b. 2001, Chicago IL) is an artist and educator working within lens-based practices as a knotting between writer and reader.

The intricacies of perception and storytelling developed from pulling apart the, or an, apparatus, are centered by the way light enters and exists.. The most comforting approach to using photography in all its complexities can be chalked out to it being the development of pages within an ever-dividing and adjacent narrative in relation to another’s.  The simple act of ‘approaching’ is derived from the manners we develop with each other. How the touch between two in a singular instance is focused through the camera’s ability to whet the author’s viewpoint in refraction to who is partaking in its reading. Each beatiful insignificance that warps the outer layers of a story, and the latching when disparate images meet, provide a comparison, or several. In their proximity, the strengthening of their inexhaustibility is forthright when two parties feel as though they turn from reader to author in the moment of watching.
